I really pleased with how it's turned out. I haven't added anything in terms of embellishment, and I went through a couple of fabric choices but I'm certainly pleased with the result. Hopefully, it was what this months Queen Bee had in mind!
Due to an unfathomable amount of child-led activities (and illnesses!) that's about all I've done this week. Can't complain though - I'm sitting typing this out on the patio, enjoying the late afternoon sunshine.
I'll be linking up with Handmade Harbour so head over there if you can.

Wonky?? I think it's charming :) x
ReplyDeleteThe sunshine seems to have inspired all us crafters, doesn't it? I love the 'wonky' star - the colours are so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week crafting :-)
Alison
Thanks!
DeleteTo any Handmade Monday-ers, I'm having real problems leaving comments for reasons known only to my iPad. I am reading and commenting on your blogs, I promise! I will endeavour to resolve my probs before next week x
ReplyDeleteHope you've recovered from your illness. The fabrics you've used for your wonky star are really pretty, they work so well together. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteAli xx
Lovely fabric- very summery and the star looks perfect! Good start to the Bee!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the quilt bee!
ReplyDeleteScrummy fabric and a lovely star, have a great week and I hope you get your 'commenting problem sorted. Technology is a great thing but it does have it's problems :) enjoy your week.

It looks great:) The sunshine has been wonderful, really enjoyed taking a few items into the garden to photograph them:)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better. The star looks good, nice and bright just s a star should be ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely star. The wonkyness only adds to its charm I think!
ReplyDeleteThe sunshine makes everything better doesn't it :)
ReplyDeleteLove the wonky star, you're such an expert at this quilting business these days :) x
I love the asymmetric design (that sounds better than wonky!).
ReplyDeleteI like your wonky star, the colourful fabrics work so well together.
ReplyDeleteThe wonkiness makes it quite quirky. I love the choice of bright, warm colours in the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteLike those colour choices (we're sticking to the brief) ... I think I spot a little Sassy! Won't it be great to see what Lou does with them all?
